Dear Shared Hosting Clients,
This morning we experienced a period of downtime beginning at 9:27am and ending just before 10:00am CST. This prime time outage was caused by network provider issue at our data center. Our equipment remained functional and online but experienced a lack of connectivity to the Internet due to a routing issue. We have received the official response below from the data center. We do not anticipate reoccurring network outages from this event. "Today our primary provider AboveNet communications dampened the routes that we advertise to the internet due to routing table fluctuations, which means that they stopped receiving them. After communicating with them about the problem they were able to clear the dampened routes which restored connectivity to our network.
